High end residential project located in the inner Sydney suburbs.  

The brief was to develop an interior design concept for specific areas of the home whilst the architects finalise and develop all external and structural aspects.  The kitchen is the ‘heart’ of the home, and must allow for cooking, eating, socializing and for the client to develop recipes with top of the line appliances and functional storage. The clients weren't set on a particular style but both agree they love Wabi Sabi influences.  The interior design concept must work coherently with the architects vision.

 

Use of textural surfaces and materials such as clay walls, Calacutta Verde Marble, Boucle fabrics, Wool rugs, and handmade tiles  embraced the beauty within imperfection. Organic shapes and forms create a nurturing, calming, informative design to suit the family of four.
